Sponsored by the ABRSM, the exam board for the Royal Schools of Music
"The jury was particularly struck by the inclusive nature of the winning project which created a musical legacy of excellence and raised aspiration for future arts engagement. This was a two year project leading to a major new work by composer John Barber and librettist Hazel Gould. Its rich, sophisticated and uncompromising musical language was accessible to young people, irrespective of age, ability and culture.
Commissioned by the Tri-Borough Music Hub, Seven Seeds brought together over 1200 young singers and instrumentalists and an extraordinary group of musical partners in a performance at the Royal Albert Hall"
